Pair of semi-detached dwellings on a former car park of a Public House in the Green Belt
When the Council issued a negative pre-application response, confidence in the correct interpretation of the National Planning Policy Framework was invaluable to the clients. After exerting pressure on the Council, the advice offered was re-considered. East Herts re-issued the letter and on receipt of an application issued a timely approval.
The application and Supporting Statement prepared by Thompson Planning overcame objections in principle, objections to the provision of two dwellings instead of one and demonstrated the dwellings and the Public House could provide sufficient parking.
