Approval of large detached bungalow
A site with the opportunity for backland development was identified by a client. The site had a long history of refusals for a detached property at the rear with associated appeal dismissals.
After careful consideration, and an investigation into local context change and policy change, Thompson Planning advised a land option agreement was reasonable.
Plans were instructed and, with submission of a robust Planning Supporting Statement by Thompson Planning, the client demonstrated how previous issues had been overcome. The planning permission was issued under delegated powers for a 6-bed property despite significant local opposition.
